The Chill William’s Veteran Relief Organization (CWV). A Chicago based foundation established by a veteran, Sgt. Ronald Veals Jr, who served in the United States Marine Corp from 2000-2008. A few years after his departure from his beloved Corp., he decided it was time to do something about the gap in transition between military and civilian life. In doing so, Ronald then teamed up with Justin Trimuel and Percy Thomas III to begin bridging that gap and dedicated the organization’s name to a fallen comrade of his.
Chill William’s Veteran Relief Organization, strives to help the human spirit of our veterans by boosting the morale of our military and their families. Our goal is to provide employment training, educational support, basic needs, and other special resources to the vets and their loved ones for everyday living.
The Chill Will Veterans 5K is an event to thank those who served. The race raises awareness and support for veterans, helping a growing number of veterans every year.
The event helps further the mission of Chill Will Veterans Relief Organization to ensure our veterans are not alone. When people participate in the Chill Will Veterans 5K and encourage others to support this event, they are investing in the lives of our American heroes who have sacrificed for our freedom.
The Chill William’s Veterans 5K is a race like no other. It’s an experience. It’s a day of celebration of our veterans – past and present.
